Round Table Conference on New Industrial Policies in Maharashtra and Compliance Reduction Initiatives

The Thane Small Scale Industries Association, organized a Round Table Conference on the New Industrial Policies and Government Initiatives for Reducing Compliance Burden on 25th February 2026 at TSSIA House, Thane.

The objective of the conference was to create an interactive platform for industry members to understand the key provisions of the new industrial policies introduced by the Government of Maharashtra and discuss measures aimed at simplifying regulatory compliances for businesses, particularly MSMEs.

The session was graced by Ms. Viju Sirsath, Joint Director of Industries, Konkan Division, who attended the program as the Chief Guest. She shared insights into the Government’s policy initiatives designed to promote industrial growth, improve the ease of doing business, and reduce the compliance burden on industries.

During the discussion, participants were briefed on the key provisions of the newly introduced policies and the government’s efforts to streamline procedures, enhance transparency, and encourage industrial development in the state. The round table format enabled an open and constructive dialogue between industry representatives and government officials.

Various industry representatives, including entrepreneurs, directors, proprietors, and senior management professionals from the MSME sector, actively participated in the discussion. Members shared their views, practical experiences, and suggestions regarding policy implementation, compliance challenges, and areas where further simplification could benefit industries.

The interactive session provided valuable feedback from the industry and highlighted the importance of continuous dialogue between government authorities and industrial associations to strengthen the industrial ecosystem.
